Listen to your life. Listen to what happens to you,
because it is through what happens to you that God speaks.
It's the language that's not always easy to decipher,
but it's there, powerfully, memorably, unforgetably.
There are so many wonderful books about our Orthodox Faith that can encourage us to pray more, inspire us to love God and to bring us closer to Him, allowing Him to heal us from our infirmities. So let's start reading!

We are currently reading "Truly Human: Recovering Your Humanity in a Broken World" by Kevin Scherer. Endorsement: "A very personal and moving account of trying to make sense of what it means to be human in a broken world and with a broken humanity. Drawing upon many resources such as scripture, personal encounters, the wisdom of the ancient ascetics, and the insights of contemporary counseling-Kevin Scherer offers us all a way of finding the grace of God in our fragility and weakness. This book will be sure to touch many people." -V. Rev. Dr. John Behr, Dean, St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, New York. The book costs $14.00
